Schedule Details

Day 1: Arrival & Afternoon Game Drive

•  Arrive at Tsavo National Park via flight or road transfer (approx. 4-5 hours by road from Nairobi).
• Check in at your lodge/camp for lunch, with scenic views of the park’s wilderness.
• Afternoon game drive: Head out on a game drive to explore Tsavo’s rich wildlife, including herds of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes.
• Return to your lodge for dinner and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the park's vast landscapes.

Overnight: Tsavo Safari Lodge / Tented Camp
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive & Visit to Mzima Springs
  • Early morning game drive: Depart before sunrise to experience the park in the early light when wildlife is most active. Spot elephants, big cats, and more.
  • Return to the lodge for breakfast.
  • After breakfast, embark on a visit to Mzima Springs, a peaceful oasis home to hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the springs and explore the lush vegetation.
  • Lunch at the lodge, followed by a relaxing afternoon or optional visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, dedicated to elephant conservation.
  • Evening game drive to capture the golden light of sunset over the savannah and catch a glimpse of nocturnal wildlife.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Departure
  • Early morning game drive: Head out early for one last game drive in Tsavo, spotting wildlife in the soft morning light.
  • Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out.
  • After breakfast, transfer to the Tsavo Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi or continue your onward journey. Alternatively, enjoy a scenic drive back to Nairobi.
