A GORILLA is a large Powerful primate known for its muscular build, broad chest, and expressive face. Native to the forests, gorillas live in groups called troops and are highly intelligent, gentle, and social animals. They primarily eat plants and communicate using a variety of vocalizations and gestures.

Arrival: Fly into Entebbe International Airport.

Depending on your arrival time, you can do a short tour of Entebbe (morning arrivals allow for a short tour in Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Center)
Transfer to the lodge for a relaxing evening in Entebbe
Two exciting options to choose from in order to visit these powerful magnificent primates include:
Option 1: Domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro (1–1.5 hrs), then road transfer (1–2 hrs).
Optional activity upon arrival: Visit the local market and the local cultural center.
Option 2: Road trip (8–9 hrs) with scenic views of rural Uganda and the equator crossing.
Accommodation: Luxury lodge near Bwindi hand-picked by EMBRACING THE WILD EXPEDITIONS.
Gorilla Trekking: Early morning trek with park rangers. Tracking can take 2–6 hours depending on gorilla movement. One hour is spent with the gorillas once found.
Afternoon: Rest at the lodge or optional community walk to meet the Batwa pygmies.
Spend the Night at the same lodge and enjoy local Uganda dishes.
Transfer: Drive (4–5 hrs) to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector — famous for tree-climbing lions. This is a sight to behold and the views on the way are worth the ride.
Afternoon Game Drive: Spot elephants, lions, antelopes, and birds. Your animal checker comes in handy and binoculars as well.
Accommodation: Luxury lodge overlooking the park or Kazinga Channel. This has to be booked way in advance as the lodge is almost always fully booked.
Morning Boat Safari: Cruise along the Kazinga Channel — hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and amazing birdlife.
Return To Entebbe:
- Option 1: Domestic flight (1 hr).
- Option 2: Drive back (6–7 hrs) with stopovers for lunch and scenic views.
